1. Who we are and what this covers

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to the Pet Ride game on rideapet.io and in the Pet Ride apps for Android and iOS (together, the “Game”). The Game is published under the New Story Lab name by New Apartments, Inc., a Delaware corporation (“we”, “us”). By playing the Game you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Game.

2. Who can play

The Game is made for a general audience aged 13 and over. If you are under the age of majority where you live, please review these Terms with a parent or guardian.

3. Your license

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to play the Game for your own non-commercial entertainment. You may not copy, sell, rent, reverse engineer or modify the Game, or use cheats or exploits, except where the law expressly allows it.

4. Coins, pets and in-game items

Coins, eggs, pets, upgrades and other in-game content are part of the Game and have no real-world monetary value. They can’t be exchanged for money or transferred outside the Game. The Pet Ride apps and website have no in-app purchases. Some game portals that host Pet Ride offer optional purchases through their own payment systems, under their own terms. Your progress is stored on your device; if you delete the app or its data, your progress may be lost.

5. Ads

The apps are supported by ads. Some ads are optional rewards (for example, watch a video to double your coins); others may appear at natural breaks. How ads use data is described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Other riders

The other riders, their pets and the leaderboard you see in the Game are computer-controlled. There is no chat.

7. Updates and availability

We update the Game regularly, and the apps may download game updates automatically. We may add, change or remove features, or stop offering the Game, at any time.

8. Our content

The Game, including its code, art, characters, music and text, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Third-party components are used under their own licenses. Pet Ride is an independent game; it is not made by, affiliated with or endorsed by Roblox Corporation.

9. Disclaimers

The Game is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that the Game will be uninterrupted, error-free or that progress will never be lost.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data or in-game progress, arising from your use of the Game. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Game is limited to USD 50. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can’t be waived.

11. App stores

If you got the Game from Google Play or the Apple App Store, the store’s own terms also apply. For the iOS app, Apple is not responsible for the Game or its support and is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms. If these Terms conflict with the store’s terms on a point the store requires, the store’s terms apply.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you live in the EU, the UK or another country with mandatory consumer laws, you keep the protection of those laws and may bring claims in your local courts.

13. Changes and contact
