Privacy Policy

Who we are

Pet Ride is a game published under the New Story Lab name by New Apartments, Inc., a Delaware corporation (“we”, “us”). We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

The short version

You don’t need an account, an email or your real name to play.
Your game progress is saved on your device. We have no player accounts and no game server that stores your progress.
We collect anonymous gameplay statistics to fix bugs and improve the game.
The apps show ads from Google AdMob. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland we ask for your consent first; on iOS we ask before any tracking. Our website shows no ads.
There is no chat and no way to send messages to other players. The other riders you meet in the game are computer-controlled.

What we collect and why

Reminders (“Your eggs are ready to hatch”) are created on your device; we don’t send them from a server. You can turn them off in the game (Settings → Reminders) or in your phone settings.

If you play Pet Ride on a game portal (for example Playgama), the portal hosts the game and its own privacy policy also applies to what it collects.

Ads and your choices

Most ads are optional rewards (“watch a video for ×2 coins”); others may appear at natural breaks, at most once every several minutes.
In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland the app shows Google’s consent form on first launch. You can change your choice any time in the game: Settings → Ads privacy.
On iOS you decide whether to allow tracking (App Tracking Transparency). You can change it in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Settings → Privacy → Ads.
We request ads suitable for general audiences (rating up to “PG”).

Children

Pet Ride is made for a general audience aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We don’t ask for names, emails, photos, precise location or contacts, and the game has no chat. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Sharing

We don’t sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers listed above (PostHog, Google AdMob), who process it for us, and when required by law. When you use the in-game Share button, the picture goes only where you choose to send it.

How long we keep data

Game progress stays on your device until you reset it, delete the app or clear its data.
Gameplay statistics are kept for up to 2 years.

Your rights and deleting your data

You can delete everything on your device with Settings → Reset progress in the game, by uninstalling the app, or by clearing site data in your browser.

To delete the gameplay statistics linked to your random player ID, email adnewaparts@gmail.com with the subject “Delete my Pet Ride data” and the Player ID shown at the bottom of the game’s Settings. We delete it within 30 days. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA) you may also have the right to access your data, object, restrict processing or complain to your data protection authority. Security and international transfers

Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the USA, under appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update this page and the effective date above.
